Manchester Weekly was started by Rob Hemingway and Joe Goddard in 2015, as a means to communicate the best new music and events to students at the University of Salford. In our first year, we won the "Member's Choice" award at  the University's Radio Station's awards show (Shock! Radio).

Now, with new addition Fay Toulios, who joins us after her work on the music team and shortly after her appointment as Head of Events at Shock! Radio, Manchester Weekly is back! Broadcasting live from Shock! every Tuesday, 7pm, it's the only student radio show you need to bring you the best new music and events from in and around the beautiful city of Manchester.
